With Britain’s roads full of potholes it is no wonder so many car wheels sustain buckles. Wheels bear the brunt of pothole collisions and the damage is often obvious, with deflated tyres or vibration through the steering wheel due to a buckle. Buckled alloy wheels will destroy your tyres, which is costly enough but can also result in an MOT failure.

Correcting the buckle will enhance your car's performance, and at a fraction of the cost of a new alloy, we can fix your buckled or bent alloy on our lathe, and have you back on the road the same day.

SGM Wheel Refurbishment have a state of the art wheel straightening machine and can provide a wheel straightening service for almost all wheel types. All our work is carried out by trained technicians in our workshop in Banbury.

What we do:

Remove wheel/wheels from vehicle
Remove tyres
Set-up lathe to the size of wheel required
The buckled alloy wheel is then heated and realigned by hydraulic ram and dial gauge until corrected
After wheel/wheels have passed quality control tyres are re-fitted, balanced and placed back on the vehicle
